Farming is more than just a job, it’s a way of life. It’s a tradition that has been handed down from generation to generation.
Unfortunately, in today’s world, farmers are suffering in silence with all of the added stress that they are facing whilst keeping their farm working.

On February 10th, Fresh Pastures aims to address some of the issues facing the farming community with their event in the Hodson Bay Hotel.
The speakers on the day include Grace O’Rourke, George Graham, Frank Hynes and the MC Mary Kennedy. The day runs as follows;
When? Monday, February 10th
Doors open – 5.30pm
Refreshments – 6.15pm
Talks begin – 7pm
The event itself has been kindly sponsored by the FBD Trust and is seen as the first in a series of similar events which will be ran throughout the country. Take a look at the event poster below for more information on the speakers, the venue and what you can expect on the day.

Tickets are on sale now through Eventbrite and a limited number of physical tickets will be on sale on the door. For further information, useful links and some general tips on minding your mental health, be sure to check out the Fresh Pastures social media pages. We’d highly encourage you to spread the word to your friends in the farming community.
